George in the bathouse studio, 1970s

I think of George every day with a drawing of his in our living room, one in the bedroom, a 6' x 8' painting in our stairwell and a charcoal portrait I did of him hanging in my studio.  Recently I got back in my studio after a long layoff and I could hear George saying, "it's got to be a habit, something you do every day!"
